Seed pod wont fall off!

Its been 2 days since it first sprouted above the soil and it's grown about 3 inches. But the seed pod won't fall off! It's rock hard and I tried to pull it open but couldn't do it without harming the stem so I backed off. At the moment I can see the tips of the cotyledon leaves but it doesn't look like it's coming out anytime soon. Should I wait or get some tweezers and yank that thing off?
 
Take it off so it can get some of that light. But be careful not to fuck up the seed leaves in the process. 3 inches in 2 days is pretty good growth.
 
how far away are the lights cause 3 in. in 2 days does sound good you just wanna make sure your lights aren't to far away cause your plants could start stretching

i just germed two citral's and i had the same problem with one of the seed pods not coming off after 3 days. i have had some seeds die from this so i chose to remove the pod myself. it was stuck really good, but i finally got it removed but growing is stunted. check the pic, the seedling (in the cup) on the left germed just fine. but the one (in the cup) on the right is the one that had the pod stuck and is not even half the size of the other one.
