Once they start turning from milky to amber, I chop. Most strains will go for at least 8 weeks after the first sign of flowering. Some take as much as 12.

Once the days get long enough, it will revert back to vegging. No idea when that point will come for you, though.. You may need to setup a light deprivation greenhouse or something.
Make it have shorter days by covering it up with something that will block the light if you want it to continue flowering.GL
Thx, but I just did some reading on auto flowers and they dnt grow very big as they have a short life span. As I live in Durban, would it not make sense to grow Durban Poison as that would be its natural enviroment and the climate and light will be perfect...A plant will start flowering with 13-14 hours of daylight ( hence people flipping to 12/12 for flower ). Quite honestly, with your climate, I'd be growing auto-flowers since they will flower automatically at a certain age NOT depending on a light cycle. Just my opinion.
