Ok so here's the problem. My friend sorta snapped the stem of my plant as i was transplanting it. Its about 2-3inches above the roots. Now my poor baby is Wilting and its really freaking droopy... I am still trying to save my baby... Should i just cut the stem and try to regrow some new roots? I am new to this and so lost. Somebody help me please!

I have had stems get knocked almost completely off and what I did was use twistie ties to pull it back togther and no problem went all the way to harvest.

But its my main stem thats snapped... I have it sitting in some water wit plant food... i've been misting it... but im scared to just leave it be... Should i put it back in the dirt or leave it in water. Someone suggested i just cut it completely where the break is at and try to get it to grow new roots... What should i do?

I do not think you can get the main stem to root. I have tryed that once on a accident and I sat it in water for days, did not work. If the stem is completly off, well you can try and grab some lateral branches off and clone them.

Exactly. Have tried numerous times w/o success. Perhaps it can be done, but not by me. Hey Ray. (just thought I'd say "Hey")

Having a little issue w/some prima-donna here on RIU refusing to remove a bunch (6-in-a-row-on page one)) of useless posts on a shaping thread I started (Fishy's bend for NooBs) but, other than that, I'm just waitin' for a 600W Digi/HPS set-up (HTG/Tues) and my clones to kick in. I suspect things are greener on your side of the fence?

Sounds like your up to something good. I have been useing the Molases through flush and my last ladie brought in a dryed 7oz./24g. I am pleased with that.:weed:

I had snapped one of mine earlier too, I folded a sheet of aluminum foil until it was thick and sturdy then formed it around the bend/snap (this provided protection and support), let it hang a little loose and misted the inside and left it alone.. week later it was just a solid clump of plant inside the "cast" and looks good as new.

Exactly, I am pretty ruff on plants. I have snapped a few branches almost clean of the main stock before. I have used sting, pop-cycle sticks, duck tape, and other items to hold that branch tight in place. Every single one of them made it. Like Fuzzotany said, there will be a nodgual of plant growth where it had healed.

But it sounds like you totally removed it from the plant. So in you case I would take a straight pin and ruff up the broken off piece, and then cut a slit in the original plant, then place a dab of rooting hormone in the slit, and stick the other piece in place, then wrap in snug with string. AND THEN PRAY for the graph to take. This is just an idea, I have never even tried this Idea, but what the hell.
