Sevin dust question

Does anyone out there use Sevin dust insecticide on their plants? I bought a container of it at my local hydro shop and was told it was one of the more popular choices for pest control. When I got it home and read the label I started wondering if it is safe to use. It sounds dangerous but the I look online and every store that sells garden stuff sells it. Also if anyone uses it do you have to wait till you see bugs or can you use it to prevent them. Thanks

Avoid Sevin. It should not be used on cannabis or any other consumables. I have found many things for sale in hydro stores that are illegal for use in food or medicinal plants. Sevin is not illegal for that purpose but it should be. There are many products available that will not poison you. What is the problem? Good luck
