Shocky plants?

my neighbor gave me two 4-5' plants and he wasn't too careful about saving the roots so the plants instantly went into bad shock. i,put each i to a five gallon buckets and watered until water came out the bottom and put them inside my shop, out of the sun and after two days they look somewhat better. i also used a bit of root stimulator mixed in the water. does anyone have any tips on what else i can do to save them? one is gorilla glue and the other sasquatch. biggest leaves i have ever seen but droopy. tia, j

How big is the root ball under the plant? as long as there is still some of it left the plant will be fine. However that is a big plant already and it isn't even flowering so even that bucket isn't gonna be big enough to last until harvest, the root ball will fill that thing up in no time. Putting it out in the sun will do no harm to it.

Chuck it in the sun and give it a couple weeks then put it in the ground or in a much bigger pot. Also look up natural pesticides on the internet. When we get worn down and stressed out we are susceptible to getting colds/flu's etc. Same with plants except with disease and bugs.

A plant that big will need alot of water/nutes especially in flower i would put it in the ground but it's up to you.

it will dry up and die in the sun, no respiration, no cooling system and it was 94 today. i have been misting it. i do have some 60 qt. pots but not that much potting soil. it is a big plant... once it starts looking up i could put in the ground. it wasn't dug up well. the other one can probably go to the gh tomorrow night.
they are both flowering but the buds were damaged badly. j
