Should I tape the top of my containers

You can go to Lowes and grab a roll of window and door flashing tape. Ive got some stuff from Pella. It's reflective on one side, and a black rubbery backing. Easy to work over odd shapes, and let's zero light through.

You coming at us live from inside the reservoir? I've been using this tape for years, on construction projects and my grow, light isn't coming through that tape. Even if you break the reflective foil, the actual tape is extremely malleable, and completely light proof. Unless he missed a spot, light isn't entering.

Look at it, it’s not fully covered, if you think a little light is ok, then whatever. Yeah he missed a spot, why I recommended panda film, see my original comment. Better go crazy with the tape now and get all the yellow surface. I could really care less anyways.

Alright, now we're cooking with grease. So it's not full covered, easy fix. The tape is malleable enough to cover the entire perimeter with 1 run. Problem solved :bigjoint:

Thanks for the tape advice its working great! And yes it is completely covered. The outside perimeter that doesn't have the tape is where the lid snaps down onto the container. But I think you're right, someone may be reporting live from inside my containers!
