This is what I grow in:

These are what I'm growing:

So if these all turn out to be female, which I'm hoping they do, considering their feminized seeds from Nirvana, what shall I do when these things burst upward and outward?

Couple of questions:

-Should I go SCROG? If so, how long will I have to train them under the screen?
-If they grow to be 4, 5 feet tall, how will the lighting effect the underside of the canopy?
-Should I purchase a smaller HPS (50w), or pick up fluorescent lights for the underside of the canopy. If so, which one's? I don't know a damn thing about lighting other than the basics of Metal Halides and HPS's.

Here is a link to my GROW JOURNAL, check it out, thanks!:joint::joint::joint:

if you're going to scrog then you'll have to prune the bottom branches. so you really don't need to worry about the bottom part of the canopy.

thats a pretty big fan you have there lol is it turned so that it blows away from the plants so its not blowing directly at them? what the strain your growing? what size light do you have now and is it MH or HPS? i have never done scrog but i have a bigger area, but squeeze a lot of plants in there so basically the room gets pretty full. i usually take most of the lower branches off at the bottom and also the small growth about 1/3 the way up from the bottom of the plant. those will just be small popcorn buds due to the lack of light penetration. also trimming the lower stuff out also helps with air circulation under the plants. i have 2- 400watt hps lights to flower and those lights wont penetrate all the way down on a 4 foot plant so the lower stuff doesnt amount to much anyway. i grew some cali orange bud from nirvana last year, they were reg. seeds. this year i got ak-48 fem. seeds. started 3 and 2 were female and 1 was a male. not too happy about that but oh well.

If you can, lower your light....that will help you out with the stretch...Because it's far from the plants, (1) they're not getting all the lumens they could be getting and you're wasting a lot of light and (2) because it's far, the plants will stretch towards the light and that's not something you want....Especially since you're kind of limited when it comes to height....lower it down then raise them as needed...

Btw, that really is a big fan for what you got

Yeah, I know about the fan. I took it out and put in an oscillating fan. Thanks for the help guys. I'll be adding rep for you help this afternoon. I'm off to see my attorney at the moment. I'm suing the Federal Government, wish me luck!
