smells like church incense?

so a friend had this bud recently that smelled just like church insense. it had a sweet and earthy taste and it was awesome. we can't track down what strain it's supposed to be. best the dealer could tell us was that it was "organic" which is useless and probably bullshit anyway. the smell was very distinct. a half hour later the room would still smell like a catholic mass. it didn't look like anything that special but it was. does anyone have any idea of any strains that smell and taste like that? i wanna grow that shit.

That is the smell of Haze.
It is 100% pure sativa originally created by the Haze Brothers using Acapulco Gold / Columbian Santa Marta Gold / South Indian Kerala / Highland Thai (original Thai sticks). Sam the Skunkman made it all famous. Google him...Seedsman carries the Original Haze and I think Sam is still the breeder. Many of todays high quality hybrids contain some of this "secret ingredient" e.g. Jack Herer. Haze can only be grown outdoors in equitorial climates due to the high lumen requirements or indoors in high ceiling rooms with HID lighting. It is not a commercially viable crop and is considered purely connoisseur. Tough to grow and extremely long to flower (14-18 weeks). Low yields, long flowering, difficulty in growing make this quite a rare and expensive toke.

This strain has medical interest for Epilepsy or MS patients. This pot, if grown correctly, is like acid and speed. VERY STELLAR. Considered by many, to be the best pot in the world. People will believe that it is laced with something (AKA speed weed). There is no ceiling when toking. Each toke will get you much higher. The reason for the lack of ceiling is the low CBD ratio compared to the THC. This is an EXTREME sativa and most growers are doing Indica. This stuff can make you puke and pass out so be careful. Hallucinations, extreme laughter, improved creativity, great for walks in the park. DO NOT SMOKE AT NIGHT...you will NOT sleep.

sounds sick. i don't know if i have the patience for a pure sativa. the buzz was somewhat heavy on the bud we had, don't think it was sativa dom. that strain sounds absolutely ridiculous though.
