So this might sound odd.

Well here's my predicament... Mother and father are devorced, mom cut off my insurance, dad can't afford to put me on his, no biggie I understand. I currently live with my father and stepmother, I've been growing in the house, which is technically mine, I lived here longer. They have no problems with it what so ever, my issue is that my ADHD meds are just about gone. An I have some EXTREMELY bad ADHD... Like I can't function without it, plus my meds are somewhat quickly destroying my liver, like all ADHD meds do..

Now, dad says he's not to cool with my smoking the MJ to deal with the ADHD but he's not going to kick me out or stop me from doing it. Problem is I haven't smoked since high school which is about a little over 2 years ago. I'm currently 20, in college, carrying a 3.5 GPA, going for my Associate in Network Engineering. Just a little info so I don't sound like a 16 year old baby complaining... My girl friend has no issues with it, just tells me not to get thrown in jail.

But I'm just concern about smoking other peoples weed, I rather get some seeds and grow it myself, because so far I'm doing a damn good job at growing. (Second Grow, plants are healthy, about to go into flowering tonight)

Now with some background info, any idea what strain I should get and grow to deal with this ADHD problem? I'm going to be getting my MJ card within the next few weeks I assume.

P.S - I need something that will let me be able to function normally, like if I was still on my medication, also I take Concerta. If that helps any, but I still need to be able to drive, and not completely impaired, I still have to work. Thanks, =)

not sure what the ODD portion is? but I do know someone who is using it for their adhd she uses oils or medibles.

MMJ is gonna react differently to each person.. when I was 15-20ish I would get really goofy feeling and want to draw for hours... now (42) It does not kill all the pain it just makes me not care about it.. whereas the narco's were killing me and making me feel horible..

To me its odd, I just lived my life by doctors medication now its actually killing me LOL!, plus its almost all gone.. I just don't want to disappoint my father, kinda look up to him, and he's said to me he rather see me do something that he's not to keen of and succeed than watch me suffer. So I'm just caught between shit, I just want to function normally.

ya i hate adderall and all that meth shit. I used to get chest pains from it so just stopped taking them. ya sativas are definately you friend but some arent. try a more sativa pheno of shark shock or green crack. just don't overindulge take a hit or two to concentrate. more usual makes your adhd worse imo.

Any kind of withdrawal can kill you if its bad enough. Especially ADHD medication. That's a controlled substance for a reason sir. You are highly misinformed.

I'd to look into a nice Indica cross. I know whiteberry is a nice 50/50 but a sativa is a high, which your body is already on considering you have ADHD. A stone would be good for evening. With whiteberry if you take a few small puffs through out the day, it never sedates you. Now smoking a bowl or 2 will sedate you. I like it. A more sativa hybrid like a 70/30 cross would make it more manageable for a novice grower like you. Most pure sativas can be tricky.

Good choice on growing your own medicine. You're probably going to want to go for some indica dominant hybrids because through personal experience I feel they calm my mind and leave me in a reflective state whereas sativa dominants lead me to act on impulse a lot of time which I know is a major aspect of ADHD

  Thats the best shit I have ever heard. I'm surprised to be alive. I used adderall everyday for 12 years and just stopped one day. You can die from the convulsions from a withdrawal and that only happens when your brain is convinced that you need the drug to survive. The only prescription drug I am aware of that withdrawl can kill you is xanex. Actually going back on it I am unsure of heroin but alcohol is a definite. I'm not trying to be rude here I just am highly informed and in all honesty do not trust drugs offered by a doctor or psychiatrist. Most of them are drug pushers and if you cannot quit something cold turkey it shows weak character and weak willpower. he is specifically taking concerta which is a lesser of evil drugs when it comes to treatment of ADHD ( i do not condone taking pharmaceutics )
either way any drug you take you should ween yourself off, just because you quit cold turkey doesn't mean everyone else can and it for sure doesn't mean their weak minded, or lack of willpower.
Drugs effect people in many different ways, you can take an advil and your headache goes away the next person can take an advil and shit hits the fan, so stop acting like a pretentious know it all about drugs, and for sure dont ever call anyone "weak minded" because they have issues "cold turkey".

while OP's withdrawal symptoms will be uncomfortable and be obvious fatigue, and depression symptoms , he will most likely be ok, however that being said any withdrawal symptom can kill someone thats why they always have

it says this because someone at some point in time somewhere or multiple people died taking the medication, died in a result of medication withdrawal (suicide ect), had a near death experience , or had issues physically with the drugs
Why does this happen? because not everyone is the same chemically inside , it has nothing to do with mentally being unfit, or mentally being addicted it has to do with YOUR body, the chemicals in your body and how your body reacts to chemicals

I hate double posting but ontop of all that if we decides to just STOP taking concerta he could unmask a depression issue, because concerta goes hand in hand with many studies on how it actually gives consumers depression, he may also have seizures (which can cause death) or fainting, the drug world is harsh when it comes to these chemicals IMHO dont ever take anything your doctor gives you unless its natural, but cold turkey is bad, and horrible way to end up giving yourself more problems medically then when you started

me as well, but its still useful information to people i spent many many years after my drug abuse studying drugs, pharmaceuticals, drug interactions, side effects and issues like these, there really should be more information on these drugs imho, theyre worst then street drugs half the time, people need to stop taking doctors orders and research themselves and see if they want to take the medication instead of "yes doctor"

Also G13/haze is suppose to be good for add and adhd
