Sockets for bulbs or electrical sockets?
Sorry, I'm looking for the smallest / easiest part that goes from the bulb to the wall socket. ie: the part the bulb screws into and the power chord. I know I can use just about any light socket but I am wondering if anyone knows of any really safe small ones for this kind of use.

these are what i use--they come in to pieces from home depot for 4 bucs each but i just screw tehm together and pay for them like that (half price 
) and then i plug it into a 6 foot extension cord that costs 2 bucks at walmart. here is a picture and u can see them in action at my grow https://www.rollitup.org/cfl-growing/153954-new-farmer-cfl-2-weeks.html you also dont have to turn it into a double--the first piece already is the socket as well as the connector

Ok well they are all about the same. I dont use cfl so im gunna try to help as mush as i can.
Make sure whatever you get its GE approved. Alot of comapnies advertise meets or exceeds GE approval. Those are no good, it has to say GE approved. They are the guys that test for fire and electrical hazards.
ok on to design, personally(from what ive seen) i like the ones that you plug into a wall socket that Y out and have two bases for bulbs. You can get 5or6 of these and plug them all into a power strip.
