Hi, I have been growing in soil for the last 9 months for approx 15 ladies... (coming to the end of my 3rd grow)

I have now been told growing WITHOUT soil and in "gravel" is a lot less maintenace but a little more work on the set up etc.

I was hoping some kind people could give me some advice on how to set up and grow this way and what the benefits and pitfalls might be... i want to maximise my yield and feel i have had some good practice in soil so far and ready for the more difficult challenge.

I am ready to start my next grow in a couple weeks and want to improve in any area possible.

Is growing in "gravel" or whateva it is better than soil...

Any words of wisdom much appreciated.

Cheers

growing Without Soil= Hydroponics, You dont Use Gravel Its Called Hydroton , I Use Soil But I Hear Hydro Is Easier

I wouldnt use gravel, but I havent researched. CoCo is the best medium from what I have read. However, I like this:
1/4 Perilite or Hydroton (or combo) @ bottom of pot, 1/2 soil (I like Happy Frog Organic), and 1/4 CoCo on the top.
