Something to be concerned about?

Hey guys, just finishing up my first grow in the 5x5, about 10-14 days left. My second tent is 9 days into flower, a bunch of Jinxproof genetics. My first grow was from clone, mutated monster crops at that... lol. This is my first attempt at growing from seed. Had a 100% germination rate out of 21 seeds but sadly only 6 females. Saved some of the males to collect some pollen and move them downstairs into my sunroom. Anyway... let me get to the point here.

At first glance these seem to be growing so much better than the clones I ran last time. Very robust healthy looking plants. I switched to super soil this run, it's a mix of ProMix, Perlite, Coco, Worm Castings, Lobster Compost and Vermiculite. It's amended with Grean Bicycles Ocean Bounty, as well as some GroKashi. I hit it with a Happy Endings compost tea right after and let it cook for 8 weeks before potting, I have another 150 gallons or so that I am letting sit over the winter. I water the plants with RO water pHd to 6.5. Soil tests at 7.0pH (analog), runoff tests at 6.8pH. Once weekly I add Slf100 enzymes, Photoshythesis Plus and I alternate between Recharge and Mammoth P every other week. At the start of flower I added some Incredible Bulk to their feed, about 9 days ago.

I am noticing that the newer growth on my plants looks kinda 'dry'. You may notice some damage to some fan leaves in the photos, this is due to a foliar feeding that had silica and liquid seaweed/kelp in it. I should have done a spot test first but I didn't. They didn't seem to like it, although my clones of some other genetics had no issues.

On another note, I did see a single flying bug in there yesterday, not sure what it was as I wasn't able to capture it, I basically mashed it into nothing as it was trying to get away. Haven't seen any others and haven't had pest issues yet.

Another side note... I have done little to no training this run, it is just a phenohunt, I am going for speed so that I can find my keepers, if any, and get the clones going. Round 2 would consist of heavy training , seeing what works and how resilient the chosen pheno(s) are. At the end of week 2 flower I am going to do some defoliation. These seeds were germinated on 8.18, were in solo cups until 9.9, then spent about 4 weeks in 1 gal pots, suspected females were then transplanted into 3 gal pots on 10.5 and I flipped to flower on 10.10.

Thanks. Maybe my timing is impeccable with the recent tea... lol. I'd be surprised but time will tell, I'll keep an eye on them to see if it clears up. If not I'll try a top dress. S wouldn't really make sense as I top dressed with basalt rock recently, but another thing where maybe I had perfect timing? Lol. Maybe I'm actually getting pretty good at this. Who knows? Haha. Thanks again for chiming in.

Those ladies are looking good. I think you got it down man. I been feeling better myself about the progress in my new seedlings. One of them started out yellowing on the initial set of 2+ bladed leaves. I felt like Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde lol
Dr. Jekyll tried to foliar feed calmag and burned the leaves a bit.
Mr. Hyde gave it the 1st feeding of it's life outside of the FFHF I placed her in.

I have continued to feed at 25% AN Connoisseur grow A&B and voodoo juice at 1ml per gal each.
She’s looking a lot better.
first pic was on 10/16 and 2nd pic is today

Deficient in the soil or a lockout?

If you didn't pop in I would have felt it was another case of to much bloom food to soon.
He added a bloom booster Incredible Bulk 9 days ago plus he is using Mammoth P every other week. Seems early for the P IMO.

I thought people ran P the whole time? That's what they put on the bottle anyway haha. I'll take a closer look today when the lights come on. They seem healthy as ever though besides for that new growth looking dry.

I'll bow to the doctor on this topic.
All I would say is that IMHO P if already in a well made soil should be fine during veg and very little if any is needed to be added in early flower.
It will gradually use more as flowering progresses and the plant will have it's highest demand for P after the stretch is over.

Sorry I was referring to the Mammoth P, I use that the whole way through, every other week or if I let them get too dry, just in case microbes die off. I don't add any Phosphorus until flowering. Incredible Bulk is 0.1-10-25, the supplement says to add 1/4 tsp per gallon of water. Once at week 1 of flower, then not again until the third to last week, gradually increasing every watering until harvest, no flush needed.

Here is a link to it on Amazon for reference...

It has worked fine on my other plants in the 5x5 following the same regimen.

Yup, early for the P !

The use of over hyped things like Mam - P ,, NOT going to really help vs the COST of the product!
Learn to make your own bio tea! WAY cheaper and it'll do just as good.

It is early use! I would NEVER use anything to boost P levels in the plant till after the stretch.... The use of P in cannabis growing is kinda overblown..

Incredible bulk is
doing some plant damage too!

I would never use a P&K product with those levels of P&K...

Did you know that high K like that will ACTUALLY INHIBIT THC PRODUCTION? It will, so STOP using it!

I tickle the K at the flip and for about 4 weeks. I then stop it and use normal K levels till harvest. I use a homemade 6% K sulfate solution at 10 ml per gallon of feed - NO MORE.

Lighten up on the P big time...

I still see S/Fe def and KUSH is right. Likely A blocking someplace... high K and P does effect S and Fe uptake.
