Spraying?!

Hey all, I'm hoping to pick your brains regarding spraying. I've seen people in Youtube clips spraying their leaves with either water or a water/nutrient mix. I'm wondering if this may be beneficial to my plant as it's leaves feel a little dry to the touch, almost paper like. I'm just worried that spraying may intensify the problem given that it's under a light with some degree of heat. What are your thoughts guys?

The reason your leaves are dry is another problem. By misting the leaves you will just hide the problem for a little while but won't get to the "ROOT" of the problem (pun intended, lol). You shouldn't have to mist your leaves at all. You have to give us more info/pics about your setup. Hard to diagnose a problem with no known info.....
