sprouts dying, why??

all my sprouts died...:(. tell me what i did wrong.

Im growing in soil, I sprouted my germinated seeds in cups with plastic bags on them for high humidity. when the sprouts opened up and turned green I took the bags off. I checked on them the next day and they all were dead.

Do you think my sprouts died from the shock of switching from such high humidity in the bag to low humidity in the air. how can i make the atmosphere in my grow room more humid?

... also my soil is drying out but i dont want to drown them. Is it worse to over water or under water?

PLEASE IF YOU HAVE AN IDEA POST IT. THANK YOU

its worse to under water especially when so young and its usually hard to over water with soil that has good drainage. Me personally I have had problems with seedlings in humidity domes and only use them for clones, so I never cover my seedling sprouts. soil most likely got to dry.

What were the temps and what kind of light and how far away? Overwatering is worse than underwatering. its easy to avoid both however, Lift up the container after youve just watered it and its stopped draining from the bottom of the pot. remember how heavy it feels. Now take a container the same size and fill with your soil mixture. Lift that container up, you want to wait till it feels almost as light as that. You'll get the hang of it after a few times, i can tell if i need to water my plants or not just from lifting them up for a second.
