Stealth baffle question

After much reasearch I have not found a suitable way to build a baffle for the exhaust of my stealth pc setup. I have made them for larger grows but this is so small that I can't create anything close to stealthy, externally.

I understand that creating a baffle inside the case would be much more stealthy but I would prefer to not lose any of my already scant growspace. Having ~ .7 square feet is a challenge as it is.

So does anyone have any tried and true methods for such an endeavor? Links? Pics? Hell I'll even take ideas at this point as I'm tired (and blazed) as fuck.

are you using a carbon filter? if so then use that to muffle some of the sound...a noisy fan can be almost impossible to make quiet without adding tons of insulation around it...You could try a fan controller to slow it down a little, or possibly look into a quieter fan. It really depends on how it's set up...pc fan?

If the fan can't be silenced you might need to "cover" the noise with something else...like a fishtank or a small electronic device that puts out some noise...like a computer of humidifier or something.

Screwing the fans in place tends to amplify any vibrations through the whole case.
To keep noise down I don't screw them in anymore, instead I line the fan aperture with bluetac (like plastecine or playdoh) to hold the fan fast and isolate any vibrations.
I also cover the fan with carbon foam which cuts noise down further. The foam helps minimise escaping light and odour.

Just cut it a little bigger than the fan and use an elastic band to hold it in place.

Perhaps I should have been more specific but my stoned state did not allow it I meant a light baffle. I am currently unable to add my DIY carbon filter as I am still waiting on my fan to arrive. Using a shitty 350w psu fan as my exhaust atm so it most certainly will not be able to move air effectively through a carbon filter.

I bought a couple 80x80cm 12v pc fans, and even with 12v hooked to the fan it can barely push through the DIY carbon filter i made. It captures a shit load of heat, so i just took it off. Now to keep my noise level down, i just hooked a 7v power source and it works great. I dont quite understand what your asking but hope this helps!

Not in the slightest.

Light baffle.

i make my fairly crude light baffles with aluminum foil
growing in a pc case, so have a light 'leak' around the fan
foil is taped to form a 'chute' that lets out air, keeps out light
it's easy to work with, and if screwed up the 1st time, easy to start over

try posting some pics to help us out....

i like to look at what i'm thinking about.
