Stems not cracking bud feels dry

It depends on how you like your final meds to be like, sticky or dry. When mine are like that I will cut them down to small buds on a tray and see how wet they actually are in between. If they are crispy, jar them up with a bodeva pack if you have it and check it in 4 hrs for wetness. if wet back out on tray to crispy outsides again and back in the jar. usually after the 3rd time out of the jar your all good, with a 62 bodeva pack or at least thats what i use. Or you can leave it up till the stems snap and then jar it up. Like this.

This is the hardest part of the whole grow. Take your time, the only reason they bend is they still have water in them. The humidity packs are well worth the investment. But if the stem bends, it is still not ready for a jar. By the way next time don't give your plant water right before harvest. I let mine wilt a little, as it speeds up the dry time

I never let it dry until the stem snaps - too dry for my taste. Like moondance said - I jar them, check the re-hydrated bud after a few hours, let it sit out for a couple hours, and repeat until the bud feels dry. Then I open the jar once a day or so to let in fresh oxygen for a couple of weeks.

See I think the opposite I chop with the girls as wet as possible, it slows my process down by a few days for a better cure in the end. I like slow and long when I prep for long term curing. O yeah the humidity packs rock well worth the investment and mine last years and years sealed in the jars. MD
