Strains for an outdoor beginner

SWIM (Someone Who Isn't Me) has done a lot of research and knows how to grow, but the one thing SWIM can't figure out is a good strain to use as a first timer growing outdoors. SWIM is considering Durban Poison, AK47, Big Bud, PPP, Skunk, and Kush because they are said to be easy to grow (resistant to molds, pests, weather conditions, etc) and still good producers of quality bud. SWIM has been heart set on Feminized Durban Poison, but is confused as he has read on various forums that it is a great all around strain, but on others that it sucks and that the high isn't good anyway. I have read the same conflicting reports for AK47 as well. Please help me out!!! Thanks. SWIM is located in the Northeast US if this helps for suggestions. Thanks again for any input!
