Do i have to wet then dry my carbon before i put it in my homemade filter?

I think i read somewhere that you wet the carbon, then dry it, then you can use it?

Correct or incorrect?

im not sure but i think they meant that if you want to reuse your old carbon then you can wet it first then dry and put back in filter. im not 100% sure but i think you pour it in dry.

if you buy new activated carbon from a store its ready to rock n' roll, just pour it straight into the filter

I agree with vento. I laughed when i read the thread post. No questions are dumb. Some people cough (ME) love to try to answer these questions. It makes me a better grower
