LED Grow Lights by Super Grow LED - Full spectrum LED grow lights

Just got a few questions, I'm a noob.

1. Is there a dial or something that allows me to control the light between the 420-750nm spectrum? So for instance, if it's time to change my light to suit the flowering period, do I spin a dial or what? I don't know how the light control works.

2. Will this 1 light really be all I need for 1-2 plants?

3. Is this worth the price in your opinion?

4. If my area is much bigger than the suggested area for one light, do I need to block off let's say..half the area? Or, can I just keep the space open and implement reflective foam inside the whole closet?

Is that 25 watt panels for 250 bucks? that's like 10 bucks a watt then isn't it? No to all of the above.

If you insist on LED you should take a look at lighthouse hydro blackstars. I still use a 500 in veg but I don't even bother with LED once I flip to flower.

Could you help me find some decent lighting then? I'm REAAAALLY leaning towards LED out of respect for my mom's power bill because she is letting me grow in her house. Ofcourse I toss her cash but you know what I mean I want to keep it low :p

Sure, a 1000 watt switchable/dimmable phantom ballast, just about any 1000 watt metal halide bulb, and a hortilux 1000 watt super hps and the hood of your choice, air cooled of course.

or since you want to go small. a 400 watt switchable/dimmable ballast, and a couple bulbs, metal halide and high pressure sodium.

Wow, $250 for a Chinese 25w LED? For that you can build your own LED using Cree, Osram and Philips LEDs, and get more than 25w, and be using the best of the best in LEDs.

If you want something pre-built, and only have a $250 budget, CFL or HID is a much better option than that 25w thing.

Yeah, I want to go small at first. Now that I realize my budget isn't really fitting for a nice LED light, I suppose I'll be going with HID. I like the switchable/dimmable lights. I would love to throw my plants into flowering at the flip of a switch. I'm not sure why dimming would be beneficial though. I thought more light the better.

I've sent you a PM btw.

Hmm, later on down the line I think I might build my own lights. Or at least look into it for sure. Thanks for the idea!
