Super small white dots on leaves?

2 week old sapling, seems to only have these very small white dots when plant is under sun & very happy. I tried researching around and only seem to pull up "pests" as an answer to small white dots - however I know that is far from what this is.

As for the damage, blame my cat
Not just once, but twice, he bit into & uprooted a couple of days ago. Plant seems to be bouncing back just fine.

Look for spider mites and eggs on the bottom side of the leaves

She good let her grow. I use cat shit when brew teas for the ladies

start neem now if you dont already. keep some pyrethrum spray handy for later if you need it.

100% sure there are no mites

Looks like a cystolith trichome* which are usually on the adaxial (leaf) side and can occur in very young plants. They are one of the plants forms of protection.

They are trichome glands .... It is normal ... Stop hovering over plant.

Just let it grow.
