I read the information that came with the ST and it recommended from 1 drop to ¼ tsp per gallon of water mix ratio.

When should I start using ST, from germination?

When germinating from seed, can I soak my Oasis Hortcube foam plugs in 1 drop per gallon mixture or should I soak the plug in plain water?

The package says to use ST for the first month, can I use it longer than that?

Should I increase the mix weekly by 25% or just go to ¼ tsp on the 2nd watering?

How many weeks before flower should I stop using ST to avoid LOOSE buds?

I have used superthrive in higher concentration in some of my grows...it even works effectively in the rooting process in place of rooting hormone... it's a wonderful supplement to ad to your plant's nutrition I would recommend a teaspoon per 2 gallons and you should be set with vibrant plants. Every one has their own concoction of plant Nutes...I like superthrive, budblood, hydrogen peroxide and a list of other specialty nutes.

yeah i use it to i actually use 7 drops per gallon and have had no ill side effects from it i also use it into the first couple weeks of flower...yeah u can germ with it also i have done that also...

From germination, what mix amount did you start with, 1 drop/gal or what? I'm starting from seed in a DWC setup. Thanks for the help, S

i've been running some experiment s with ST too and i can't use too much it seems, i took a cutting that was bout an inch and a half tall but i didn't angle cut the stem or put rooting compound on it
i mixed 10 mL to a gallon and kept soil moist at all times and used same spray for foliar feeding and have been able to keep this plant alive and green with no roots all (due to scar? ball from not angle cutting stem) for 2 months
also i haven't noticed a substantial difference between about 3-4 mL per gallon and more substantial amounts

That’s really interesting, it will only use what it will use and isn’t being burned up by using too much. I wonder if my seeds will react the same way.

How much has the cutting grown (if any) in 2 months with no roots? I’m amazed she is still alive after that long because ST is a B12 vitamin not a nutrient as far as I know. Your girl is probably hungry by now for sure! Is it too late to cut the stem at an angle to see if it’s still viable with cloning hormones? Thanks, S

i love superthrive. I use it in the soak i use for germinating seeds and can definately vouch for the improvement over plain water. it plummets the ph though so if using it with a watering solution i always up the ph before i feed (i grow in soil). imo it's only really useful during early growth or if you need to transplant. Once the plant goes from having a stem to having a trunk is when i stop using it, and the next time i use it on a crop i plan on flushing before flower. I really think it can jack with the ph if not careful, but it is good stuff.

How much does Superthrive affect the PH? For example if my water is 6.8 what is the PH be after adding Superthrive?

it depends on the volume of solution you're dealing with. let's put it this way, when i ph up too much when adjusting, i use superthrive to bring it back down. the quarter teaspoon per gallon ratio can drop it a whole number or more depending on what the rest of the solution is made of so be careful. some nutes and other additives will buffer the solution a bit but really i'm not kidding. the stuff is acidic.

Dont wanna use it during flowering, it will inhibit proper bud growth.

Other than that, i use it in veg in every grow I do.

Sure builds up the roots!!!!

the reason you can't use too much, and you don't notice a difference in the amount you use, is because it's pretty much useless stuff, and overpriced. why would you want to use a product, when you have no idea of what's in it?

i think after some testing that ST is good for rooting, and transplanting, i don't really notice much difference in veg
