Sweet Dreams Drip system pH problem

Hey everybody, I am currently growing a clone of a Sweet Dreams plant in a waterfarm drip system. I am having problems maintaining the correct pH while the system runs. I tried running pH corrected water all over the hydrotons and replacing the reservoir water at least 4 times. After an hour of running the pH goes from an adjusted 5.8 to around 7.3. The plant is doing nicely but earlier the tips were turning color and now the fan leaves are curling on the sides a bit. It is not at all hot in there grow space.

Thanks all!!!

What water are you starting with? What nutes are you adding? What are you using to adjust pH? What is the res temp?

HTH

like an idiot i did not wash the hydrotons before I put the plant in. Is there a way to flush it now....with the plant in it?

I'm having the same exact problem with my drip system!

PH changes from 5.8 to 7.something in a matter of hours.

What the hell? Maybe i need to clean my hydroton as well.

whats a good way to clean them so that they're ph neutral???

Water cleans them, put them in a strainer and wash. Yeah what kind of water? What kind of nutes? and what kind of pH adjustment stuff are you using? Sounds like your plants are gulping huge amounts of water if it only takes an hour. I'm growing Sweet Dreams to right now BTW.
