switch from drip to dwc?

Hello I am wondering if it is possible to switch from my 24/7 drip table to a dwc. I am in the first week of flowering and myplants just are not growing big and fast enough I am sure its a problem with the roots not getting enough water and drying out. My table is 4x4 and is covered in poly which tapers into the middle where it drains. I am going to wait and weed out the males then I am going to switch the fems into a dwc will this hurt them??

So I went and switched the ladys into a dwc tote with a 24/7 drip system. 3 air stones on the bottom I am thinknig about getting a bigger air pump. So far so good still flowering and roots are not turning brown from the switch so I think its going to take woo.
