Switching to Flower.

I started my plants on 12/12 about 5 days ago but I forgot to give them 24 hours of darkness before doing so. Do I need to try to do this now or will they recognize they are in flower with the 12 hours of light I have been giving them for five days?

Why are you giving them 24 hours of darkness??

You're fine putting them directly into 12/12

Some people say its good to give them a whole day of darkness to 'reset their internal clocks' so the plants know its time to flower when you put them on 12/12 after. But thanks for the input, I was just making sure.

Yeah I think you're fine really either way it's going to start to flower

since 24 hrs of darkness does not occur in nature (at least where green plants grow), i think i can confidently say that the need for 24 hrs of darkness before switching to 12/12 to "reset their internal clock" is nonsense. Unfortunately, when it comes to growing weed - there seems to be a lot of that going around.
