Does it matter where i put it??????...when i place it on my cups it says the temp is above 100.......can that be right ????? when i read the box it said dont place in direct sunlight or light source...so maybe that was the reason.....i just dont want to put it to far because i dont think it will be a accurate reading....

Yea i was going to but my bread short right now.....but i will be getting one i just needed one for right now....it was the quickest thing to get......bc i put a regular one that is from a restaurant refrig and it only goes to 80....i set it on top of my cups and it said the temp was above 80 and there wasnt anymore numbers .....so i wanted to check it....

word...maybe i'll go to walmart and see.... i went to home depot maybe there just more expensive there.... but yo what are the ideal temps...and humidity....i think my humidity is low

your temps should be between 73 & 78 and no higher than 82... and humidity should be between 40-60% during veg and lower humidity during flowering

ok i read somewhere to add a dish of boiling water by the plants helps with humidity....so i did that...i'll check it again in a few and see if anything changes

My temps usually roam around 79- 84.

I try not to let it get any hotter than that. Some people say that temps should be in the high 70's all the time but I have not seen any problems when they are in the low- mid 80's.

As long as it is not 90- 100 then I think you will be OK.

And you will get a false reading if you put the temp gauge directly under the light. Put it off to the side about in the middle of the grow room, halfway up and halfway across.

yea im had the door slightly cracked....im just opened it more to lower the temp its dropped to like high 80's now....once i figure out how far open the door has to be to control the temp i'll be ok......
