It looks like there was a bit of research on it. Apparently THC downregulates protein pathways in certain cells and causes a structure change that induces apoptosis. It would be an anticancer, but they would target it to immune cells so that the patient didn't have to get the psychoactive effects.I don't know. Is there research on this? Does it really matter? I did see something the other day about how THC can help limit the onset of alzheimers which would not suggest a link with an increased rate of apoptosis.
