THC levels

A question i was always wondering was is there a way to test the levels of THC found in cannabis ?

I have been told that "skunk" contains around 60-80% thc while "solid" (resin) contains only around 20-30% and the rest is chemicals.

To accuratly test the THC levels you must send it off to a lab, also smoking it would give you an indication depending on your resitence and how fucked up you get. As for the actual percentages I do not know.

if you look on the seed companys websites it will more than likely tell you there - i use greenhouse seeds and they have them already pre tested and give you the differing THC content dependent upon which strain you choose

since when did ANY strain of weed have 80% THC- thats ridiculous
skunk has about 12% THC, and thats the good stuff:bigjoint:

look it up on amsterdammarijuanaseeds.com, they give good descriptions and excact THC percentages for most strains

thank you.. was wondering when someone was going to bring that point up.. 80% ? no way.. i think that hash in only around 40/50% at best..
i think there are basically two main ways to measure thc, and both of them involve sending a sample off to a lab..

cool.. nice info.. thanks riddle me.. i have never heard of such a product, sounds cool, and totally makes my prior post incorrect, lol... thanks for the info though, will have to check it out.. it kinda sounds like one of those test kits that you can get to test ecstasy pills with... very cool indeed..

So i have a cannibas book right here and it says.

Shwag - 2%-5%.......Regular 6%-12% Like Kb 13%-16% and medicinal can range from 17% to like 30%, but 80 is rediculous i wish there was somthing out there that potient :) hash im not sure but im sure its like 30-50%

What I've always wondered what is meant when you say 20% THC? It can't possibly be 20% by volume or mass, so how is the percentage derived?

I think it is just a marketing gimmick.

by taking a sample of the plant and testing for all THC's and CB's then reporting percentage of each found

No- you'd be surprised, but it's actually the percentage of THC in the total extracted oils of the product. These oils contain CBN, CBD, and THC among other things, rather than in the actual plant.

Don't get so caught up in THC level. The plant has over 60 chemical compounds. You can get more medicated on a 8 to 10 percent 10 THC with high other levels. Experienced smokers may not even get MEDICATED on 18% THC but shitty low levels other the other important compounds. I am told testing can on be done on 3 of them.

Pretty sure your talking bout bho. Gotta pay a lab with a mass spec. And don't even bother if you aren't doing everything legally.
