The Age-Old Question...does size matter....? Small Beans?

O.K. So I just got my beans from Herbie's. Took one week to the day to the Midwest US. Not bad at all. I am not sure if I should be concerned about the size of some of them. All are feminized, and all but one are autoflower. I'm not sure if I have read that either factor would make a difference in the size of seed. All seem on the smallish side as far as something I would pick out myself. Some also seem maybe not as mature as they could be for a lack of "spotting" or being "mottled". The one that really concerns me the most is the Photo-period seed, (Easy Sativa), as it is one of the 2 or 3 that I consider to be TINY. Does anyone feel I need to be concerned? BTW...that is a regular #2 pencil sharpened to a good point for size refedrence....

Also...what about experience with these strains? Yea or nay on consistancy and potentcy?

They look fine to me...I've germ'ed ones 1/2 that size and completely white

They all look fine to me. The only way to know is to plant them.

I've always thought seedbank seeds looked different than bagseeds too. Always seem slightly smaller on average than what you would pick out of a bag and have a pale caramel color without that "tiger stripe" pattern you see in bagseed sometimes.

i just germed some c99 fems, were half the size of normal seeds, they popped thru the dirt like they had something to prove

I think the bagseed is just more mature to add more weight. Maybe when they breed these autos they are trying to keep the time-frame down to affect plant size? I don't know, I just got some auto Dr. Feelgoods from Attitude and they are small too. Takin them north for friend to sprout, She has better space.
