The Beginning of the End

Next is the clones. I try to cut diagonally as low as I can at first and if i have to cut twice for the desired angle ( I currently dont remember the angle) but as far as clones go I trim most foliage from the clone minus a full branch( a fan leaf and a new branch, on two sides with a main stem growing between them.) And then chop is from the mother. After the initial cut I slice straight up the cut branch cutting it in half (pic) like 1 centimeter. Real important I think. And then shave the "skin" off the entire first centimeter or so to promote root growth. Here's all my new clone pics

And finally my flower tent. I'm actually not too pleased with it. I dont take 100% care of it cause I'm a lazy alcoholic and push back a water/feed day but I still expected more from myself. But the 2 smaller plants in the back were experiments that i left alone most of their grow, (they are only a couple weeks from harvest) and the big girl in front is still a week or two after those 2)

I believe I had problem with not enough air movement in the tent to help the branches thicken. And I never supported the colas as they grew so the got too heavy and started falling over

24 hour old clones. I cut them and place them in my veg tent under a current plant to block some light because it is too intense for new ladies. I dont do anything besides that. And keep the soil from getting too dry.

So far my clones seem to do pretty well. To be honest probably 75% of my clones survive this way. However I have tried many things even taking a clone from a plant 4 days into flower.. that clone did not make it. ( to be fair it might have survived but after a month growth started super slow and when I pulled it to discard it there was still no roots growing)

New shit.. it's been a lazy week as you can see from my droopy leaves.. but the clones are doing pretty well just gave them their first nutes, and at full strength even. Switched my lady in veg because she was sucking on the glass of my light fixture... humm I was told 12" from an HID light? But my plant was literally squished into the glass with no Ill effect.

If you paid attention I had 2 ugly looking ladies in the back of my tent i didnt take care of at all.. poor ladies. I chopped both even though the trichomes where still mostly clear. But my thoughts are.. I am still learning and so now I will be able to tell what a poorly grown prematurely harvested plant is like.
