Interesting indeed. WIll have to see if I have the patience for non-fem again. I might have to as I'm very much missing Mandala #1 and fem seeds are rare.

Well, I just dry weighed this lot, and I mean proper dry.

15 oz give or take a few gms. Much better, and 3 of the 6 plants were dead or as good as.

New 4 plants (from seeds) are in the RDWC system now. Let's see what happens....

(had my 1st rdwc issue almost immediately - a small clay pebble made it's way into the system and blocked the Tee reducer at the end of the system. I drained and now installed two mini mesh pots, one over each pipe exit where it leaves the last two pots to be recirculated).

I moved from rails to coco and didn't get a difference in yield. But I left my lights the same. I'm glad you found a difference I'd run some rails and see if it was the light or the substrate or a melange of both. Do you have enough room to run a side by side?

Enough room - not really.

Rails? I assume you mean NFT rails. I used NFT tanks before.

Little upate - just cropped.

RDWC was no more hassle than NFT. I checked twice for root clogging (of pipes) and pulled back one rootball (out of 4) once.

Got a clay pebble pipe jam in week one but learnt from that. Never happened again.

Top ups and Ph & EC were very easy. Nice gentle adjustments with such a lot of water.

Bought a water chiller on FB marketplace. No issues there.

Plants all grew into their space. Did 2 x Blueberry at the front and 2 x Girl Scout Cookie at the back. Front right was impressive, front left not so much. Rear two GSC went nuts!. All root balls very happy and rot free.

Impressed. Will post weigh-in results when dry - prob little under two weeks from now. Certainly would have been more if all GSC but I want some Blueberry so wasn't an option to have all GSC,
