Hey everyone I’m brand new to this forum like to start off by saying hello

this is my third grow in a tent the fist one didn’t end up how I would like the second one I found out that I had a autoflower ( which gave me two oz dried) and now I’m going to run 4 plants all autos ( cheese, zkittles, sour lemon haze, and moby dick all from canuck seeds)

I grow in a 4x4 tent with a aglex2000 w led light

now I’m curious on how to grow big autos That will produce a lot of beautiful flower. I use blood and bone meal and chicken manure also havesome bat guano left from previous grow. I was thinking of placing a dozen worms in each pot to give me fresh worm castings in each pot and also stimulate root growthwith the tunnels they make

any tips or tricks to get some big flowers off these girls once they get going?

Could you provide a link to the light you are using?

you are a bit under the amount of light to flower a 4x4 with that fixture. with 16 square feet of space and 400 watts of light you are sitting at 25 watts per square foot. with high efficiency white LED you want to be at about 35 watts per square foot and with HPS or lower efficiency blurple style LED you want to be closer to 50 watts per square foot. The light you have will work, but you aren't going to be getting the most out of your space.

If you'd like to avoid spending more money you could simply try to keep your plants within a 3x3 space centered under the light. otherwise, you could invest in another 100 watts or so of LED and you'd be much better equipped to take advantage of the full 4x4. gimme a minute and I will link you to a couple affordable options if you choose to get more light.

I love my spider farmer se3000.. Samsung diodes.....meanwell driver that is detachable... the bar style is great for the best light spread and heat dissipation ...got mine for 300 after coupon... it says veg 4x4 and flower 3x3....But im 90% sure you could easilly flower a 4v4... infact several youtubers have....But I don't want to recommend something that's under powered..... Se5000 is like 660$ but theres a 60 off coupon thru amazong and I beleive you can get one from spider farmer here on the forums as well.. but don't quote me on that... so 5000 should be under near 500ish bux. which is nearly 1$ per watt as its 480watts from the wall....There are cheaper options... Hyphotonflux that come with similar driver and diodes.. just lower bin quality stuff .....and they can be had for about 550 - 60$... so around 480...so a dollar per watt.....But.. its got less diodes and no IR./uv and maybe less deep red? Not sure... here are some links...from what I can tell and I have zero experience with the China CHINA lights, only some of the good brands coming from China, Spider farmer, is quite good tho.,.. been running it 20 hrs a day for 8 months now ZERO issues, actually impressed by the build quality.
Se5000:

Se3000 if you trust youtubers: for around 330ish... mine pulls 330wats from the wall

And here is an example of the China CHINA lights, but I see people having luck with them:

There are quite a few knowledgeable China CHIIIIINA light guys on here, I just opted for the get what you pay for...when its from China rule.. Mars Hydro also has a 480watt bar style light, But IMHO, Spider Farmer is superior in build and light quality.

Edit I see you're using a 408 actual watt cobb setup... I have no idea how that compares to a bar style with quality diodes and stuff, so if im recommending something of less power, forgive me.

I know their are a lot better brands but the Mars hydro fc4800 best bet for you as far as a decent budget light for your 4x4

Spider farmer, has all samsung diodes... no osram, Mars uses Osram fillers.....SF is 60$ cheaper....and achieves the same or better par output than the mars with less diodes...... so...yeah, I'd have to disagree.. I mean sure the mars is slightly better middle of the map, right?... But look just 1 square in from the outsides, where it matters on both both par maps, its obvious who has the better diode quality/placement....for now....And when you're talking 4x4 the coverage is far superior to the middle of the map performance

I had a tsw 2000 mars hydro light before this, 300watt... and in my humble opinion Spider Farmer has a way better finish and build quality.

Ok thanks for the light info what about the items I’m using to grow with?

this is how i grow, 2+ oz per plant and im not using the best seed banks either.. its truly easy....I cannot suggest anything past what i';ve learned in that thread, I like to use Jobe's 3-3-3 (water soluble powder not spikes) w\myco's as a recharge for the good bacteria and such....on second top dress... first top dress just being ffof., and with all LED lights owners...i feed it a lot of cal mag, and I also see great benefits from Neptune's seaweed amendment.. as I use RO water, my Tap water is softened, weed doesnt like the extra salt....But if this is not the route you want to take, many ppl here grow in all different kinds of Mediums. IMHO organic or as close as you can get, takes better, pulls smoother..,
