Creates hot spots

Paint your walls white, buy some mylar or poly
Has anyone actually seen a hot spot or is it all hear say? I may quite possibly be the shittiest grower here, but I did take a lot of physics classes, and it just doesn't make sense. In order for the light to be get concentrated, there needs to be a smooth, uniformly CURVED piece of aluminum foil to form a focus point. Unless you're trying to, I don't see how you could. Not to mention, the aluminum foil will not be reflecting the main source of light, instead it reflects the radiant light back towards the plant.

I dunno though. I've thought about it long and hard, and I keep arriving at this conclusion.

ive heard that cfls dont get quite hot enough for that kind of thing, anyhow.

i still use flat white paint, its easy, clean, and if you have to clear out right quick
youre dont need to explain tin foil walls.
