I too have red hair and at the same stage as you. I thought it was odd but I try not to worry cause that just causes more stress and i've been worried since the first day. I'm curious though if it is in fact some kind of problem.

not sure on whether or not its a problem... but shouldnt you be using something thats higher in K as well. Im pretty sure in flowering you should use something thats lower in N but higher in P than K but still high in K. correct me someone if Im wrong. Like something like 10-20-20 or 15-30-30

i once attempted to solve a Mag deficiency with an epsom salt foliar spray on a plant that was in early bloom, turned all the hairs like a pink shade.

Doesn't the change in color of hair mean that the bud is either close to harvest OR producing seeds ... ? I hope i'm wrong .

The hairs could be turning at this point but if they are then it shouldn't be very many of them. Yes hairs turn red when they have been pollinated but I wouldn't worry about that if you have been paying close attention for males. Were these from clone or seed?

I started noticing some red/brown hairs at about 4 weeks. It's in week 6 now and they have increased some but not at a rate rapid enough to think harvest is right around the corner. At this rate it seems they should take until about 3 weeks more or so. I had the same worries but the bud size is still increasing and their are still a lot of white stigmas. The hairs are not rapidly turning red.

Since i started this thread alot of crap has happened. My inlaws came on vacation so i built a little temporary cab. inside my closet with plenty of intake and exhaust fans, keep in mind i use a 600w hps..(usually my op is in a closet with the door open)my temporary cab got too hot plants almost dried up....I checked them just in time to get water and KINDA save them...NOW most of the hairs have turned brown on my favorite lady(purple haze) She had lots of damage on all her tops ,like 8 or 9...so i had to chop most of her down ..not sure if she'll be ok....The other 2 bagseed were lookin beautiful, now look crappy not too sure these will make it either....1 bagseed is a trooper all her effin leaves turned yellow but she keeps growing.....During this whole "Save the plants scenario" My son walked in the room and fell on her ......GGGRRRRRRRR.....busted 2 branches.... I wasnt flippin out or nothing but....GGGRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRRAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAAA......anyway i get excited just remembering. anyway ,she still keeps growing...WHAT A GIRL.

Wish me luck on the other 3 girls i will post pics soon as can sneak back into the room......

PS.... A few minutes ago , I put together a little CFL/FLORO homemade fixture..so i can keep them in the cab till in laws leave in like 10 FU#%@ DAYS...They add up to like 140 w half red half blue .....will this hold me over till they leave or what??...then ill go back to the 600w.....
