On to my second adventure on RIU. First was fairly successful and I have a nice oz to sit on while this next grow gets going.

The setup is a 4x8 tent with an AC Infinity carbon filter and inline exhaust fan. Im spittin light out with two spider farmer sf450. I have a nice dehumidifier setup now with a humidifier on standby to switch out as the outside seasons change. One oscillating fan on the floor and two small fans up in the top circulating air around.

I started the germination of my "perpetual" auto grow. Soaking two Pineapple Express females from Crop King, two Sweet Gelato beans from Sweet Seeds, and two Frosted Skywalker seeds from Mosca Seeds.

Germination went well this round 6 of 6 split and sprouted. The first two to split were the skywalkers. Suprisingly slywalker 1 was the first to split and had the biggest tail. Coincidentally sky1 is struggling the most. I have started to germ another walker to take its place. All plants are coming up on there 1 week birthday. Note: gelatos from sweet seeds seem to making the best progress so far.

Week 1 went by fast with no real issues other than my impatience. I started a 3rd Skywalker to replace Sky#1. Now all 3 skywalkers seem to be growing. Sky#1 is still stunted and taking a very long time to get going. Gelatos are off to the races, getting bigger by the minute. Moved my pepper plant back in along with a succulent i just potted from offshoots of another I have.

We are on week 4 now with these girls. I would have to say I probably did stunt there growth. Most of them started to get some discoloration in there lower leaves. It started with my pepper plant, and then all the girls seemed to follow. I thought maybe a nutrient issue so i watered with recharge only. Didnt seem to make a difference. I decided to transplant my pepper and that is when I realized the problem. They were all root bound, the pepper was pretty bad and the girls were not looking happy either. I transplanted them and I am hoping they recover and make some good growth. I have never grown autos, so i wasnt expecting the trasplant to be so soon. I guess this is a good learning experience. They all seem to be in preflower or even possibly have started flowering. Is this the right time to switch nutrients to bloom specific? Any advice would be great.

Work and the holidays have taken over most of my time lately. These girls made a good recovery and all produced well for being so small. I will do my best to update to this point. I have harvested everything except the pineapple auto. Which seems to have been the most stunted but getting the biggest overall.

I will start by picking back up at day 34

They all really startet putting on some "weight" at this point. Notice the second pineapple auto is further behind all the other throughout the grow.

Next update is day 78

This catches us up to this point. Unfortunately I did not get pictures of the harvest. So now I have the pineapple left. I already harvested the main cola of one while the other plant is about a month behind despite sprouting at the same time.

So thats whats still growing. Here are a couple nug shots:

Frosted Skywalker, 167g wet, 28.5g dry
Very solid, dense buds, smells strongley of a skunky sweet cheese, almost skunky cheesecake. Taste is not strong.

Sweet Gelato, 156.5g wet, 32.5g dry
Lighter, fluffly buds from one plant denser from the other. The fluffier bud is not as fragrant or tasty as the other seems to make me cough more. The dense Gelato plant smelled very strongly of fruity grape candy. Tasted the exact same. Best tasting bud Ive ever smoked. Very clean.

The other news update for now; I ordered some diamond texture mylar to split the 4x8 grow room in half. I will now start growing photos on one side and autos on the other.
I have started 7 seeds 3 of which split and one of those has sprouted. I planted the other seeds despite not splitting yet. Hopefully they decide to grow. I have 2 Deez Runtz from Gas Reaper Genetics, 2 Grape Snowtrain from Digital Genetics, 1 Red Gorilla Girl XL from Sweet Seeds, 1 Chem#4 x B.O.O from Useful Seeds, 1 Warbird from a Breeder I dont remember.
