Too early to flower?

I'm growing indoors, with soil, and I have a CFL/T5 set up, I've had a plant that I got from a friend on like the 16 of may, this plant now has 8 sets of leaves, it's 6 inches tall, and it's 7"x8" wide. I'm wondering if I should start to flower it now because I've been told that plants double or triple in size when flowering. Plus I'm using t5s and flouros wich don't penetrate as well as other lights. What should I do? I'll get pics up today, she is supposed to be feminized, is it going to stay wider than it is tall? As good as that is, I don't know if I want that, I don't have the room for it and my girlfriend will yell at me if I keep using all my money for more "stupid lights". I've heard of people flowering at 6 inches and my plant is pretty developed, but I also want a decent yeild, should I keep vegging it and go get more lights anyways? I'll post pics later tonight, but I just want to get some input from you guys before I decide what I'm gonna do. Thanks.

U can flower a plant. Whenever u want but keep in mind th3 plant will still grow wen flowering

The first pic was when I first got it, it was about a week and a half old it was 5-25-2010, the 2nd and 3rd were yesterday 6-7-2010. How much do you guys think it would yeild if I start to flower it at this size? Only a couple grams? About how big should it be to harvest an oz? Much bigger? And if someone could answer another question of mine, for a new sprout, does the veg cycle start as soon as it sprouts? Or does it go through a stage of being a seedling first? Or does the veg cycle start when it gets it first true set of leaves? I'm a little shady on that. Please check out my lady and tell me what you think. Thanks RIU.

the sooner you flower the less it will yield, I would say an oz would be generous but if you flowered now you would end up with a nice size plant, but I would wait, and instead of buying more light save and buy a hps/mh bulb for flowering and you will get a much better end product, I would say you could veg up to 6 weeks so you have time to save the cash

I'd like that, except I'm growing in a closet and can't really be setting up ventilation and all kinds of other cool shit. I think these T5's are doing good enough for me for now, I'm thinking about switching the light bulbs to 50/50 2900k/6500k for flowering, should I go all out or 3/4?
