Topping/Cloning Help

I've heard of people topping there plants then just simply using the tops as clones. Im assuming then they top a couple nodes off the top. I always top my plants but the normal way, just clipping the top of the growth shoot. My question is this, if I do take enough off the top to clone how does the plant then rejevunate compared to a normal topping?

yep kaos is right ive done it different ways jus to experiment and there is not much difference unless you stress your plant while it is repairing itself

I have cloned the very top growth tip (node) with success (for now). I didnt want to throw it away, so i experimented. it is just a very small plant but has a very good structure

Thats is very interesting... i have just enough plants that need to be topped, and just nough empty space in my grow closet for a couple sets of clones. this could be a good way to fill in the little gaps and get as much out of the square footage as I can! :weed:

I plan on doing the same with my grow. If there isn't going to be room under the lights for them I was thinking about doing a 12/12 CFL box to get them to show sex faster.
