Transplanting mother into hydroton

Hey everybody, Just got an awesome morninglights clone, in 1 inch rockwool, beautiful white roots sticking out the bottom, bout to transplant into a ph adjusted 4 inch rockwool cube, this plant will be a mother under 24/0 being topped constantly to bush out, my question is, when i transplant it into the 4inch, should i give it a couple days for the roots to fill the 4inch cube before i drop it in the hydroton? or should i just transplant into 4 inch and drop into bubbler same day?

what type of hydro are going with,I take clones in 1 inch rockwool and put them into the net pots with hydroton or small fish tank gravel (thats what I use) and top feed until I get roots out the bottom in my dwc set up,I dont think you need a 4 inch cube for dwc, for flood and drain yes you would

well im using a 5 gallon dwc, with pumps, i ended up just tossin the 1 inch rockwool into the hydroton, i accidentaly got the 10 inch net pots, so its kindof a drag waitin for roots to develop,
