Trimmed off all non affect bud rot colas; can you smoke?

I had a super silver growing and she was in the last week or so of flowering, and I noticed bud rot. I had about four branches crumble to powder when pressed between my fingers. I cut off all the buds that looked good, and threw rest of the plant away. Question is; I see no symptoms of bud rot in these buds, are they usable? What about the rest of my plants in the grow? I know there are spores everywhere......
