Trimming/Pruning Problem

So my plant, i think, are looking really good. The only problem is that some of the fan leaves on the bigger plants are so big that the new chutes where the budding sites are are having a hard time pushing past them. It is making the new growth wimpy looking and has not really progressed in a couple days. Should i cut all the fan leaves off so the new growth has an easier time?2011-12-29_19-52-12_209.jpgEspecially on this shorted one up close, its a sour diesel2011-12-29_19-51-23_912.jpg and is kinda short and bushy as all hell.

The new growth can take care of itself. Especially when you turn over to flowering and the whole plant stretches... Maybe then if you see some neglected budsites you can strategically remove some fan leaves. I tend to remove damaged ones first.

Once youve done a couple of runs with that strain you'll understand her better, shape, height, etc. then you'll knw exactly what to do to acheive the plant you want.

Don't cut the fan leaves, cut the lower ''wimpy'' growth.. Lollipop.

It'll put all the energy into the top growth of your plants...

IMHO. Do not lollipop until you do a full run, trust me, some strains dont need or want it. and if your plants arent going to veg much longer, lollipopping may just result in less budsites.
