As far as I know the UK don't sell fox farms soils I've heard it really good for growing with so are there any other brands available to buy in the UK that's just as good if not better ivr been told avoid miracle grow. Thanks

canna terra professional should be in any grow store, so should fox farms though.....................

i highly recommend canna products from personal experience.

Might not be a fancy name brand like FF or Canna but when i was soil growing I never had any probs with Westlands multi purpose, usually a buy 2 get 1 free offer on at Homebase/B&Q too. Used to mix with dolomite lime to keep Ph stable throughout the grow and add Guano top dressing when switching to flower with decent results.
Peace

Canna/Plagron/Hesi/Biobizz seem to be the main soils available from hydro shops ive seen, hardly ANY in my part of the country though so only got limited experience of the places, most of my stuff is ordered from online because of this

If it helps most people growing green seem to prefer the No.3 mix, ive just swapped over to it this week after problems with a previous soil

Yeah i used it a few years ago with great results and quite a few growers i know will ONLY use this ( because it works well n you can get 3-4 bags of this for the price of a bag of canna soil lol, also its already ph`ed to 6.5)

Ah awesome cost effective too, just one more thing would this be ok to plant a seed straight into? I've always Germed in and planted into the final growing medium would this burn it? I used dirt from my garden before

I normally use their seed starter soil then transplant into the NO.3 but i have germed seeds in this before with no problems

Don't know about UK, I live in Australia.
Before I started using Canna Terra Professional, I used Yates Premium Potting Mix, which was great. (although not quite as good as Canna Terra Professional)
