what does taping down your plant do or why do ppl do it?

Low stress training, it allows more light to reach more of the plant. New shoots will grow on the newly exposed areas.

It definitely is something you need to do, but not taping, tying. Get some twine and tie down to stakes. The results are amazing.

people also do it when the plant gets too tall and they dont want to top the plant.

and for stealth reason, in which is what I do to mine.

i needed it for the stealth an i have seen some nice changes of the growth also since i'v started lst

I've been thinking about tying my plants too since I've been hearing such good things about controlling the plant growth.

But since I'm a noob, when should I start doing this? Is it something i do right from the start or do I wait a bit until the plant is growing good?
