So it's now the Pack 10 and Big 12.

I just read about it. I don't know what to think about it yet.

USC and UCLA, two of the Pac-12's flagship programs, were notified Thursday night that their application to join the Big Ten has been accepted.

The schools will begin play in the conference in 2024.

with 2 super conferences and this NIL money to buy players, college football is just the minor league for the nfl now.

the only chance for the ACC is to get Notre Dame. if clemson and ND move to another conference, the acc is done too.

The PAC might just go away as well. There's talk of UO and UW leaving. If that happens then it's game over.

I personally don't like the way college football is going. It was my last bastion of sports but now it's nothing but a highly commercialized entity I am losing interest in.

the only bright side is that without the NCAA (they are pretty much obsolete now) , we might actually get an 8 team (or more) playoff system to really determine a national champion.

The Ducks are probably next to leave the PAC12. They can't stay. It's about money and the biggest media market just went to the Big10. It's quite possible that the Ducks end up in the SEC. Crazy as it sounds. You might see both the universities of Oregon and Washington going. I doubt they're going to the Big10 but they're going somewhere. I'd rather see Oregon in the SEC if they'll take them.

Phil Knight wants them to go and that pretty much means that they're going.
