Venting into attic (temps)

From what I have read venting heat into the attic in most cases is not a good idea, but I really have no other option and I wanted to get your opinions.

I have a 6x8 walk in closet that I am using as my room and I currently only have a 400w MH. Ambient temps in my home are approaching 75 degrees as spring gets here and my closet is hitting 85.9 during peak day. I plan on upgrading to a 1000w eventually.

My ceiling is just drywall with 13" of blown in insulation which I would run ducting through the roof and past the insulation just to blow the heat into the attic. This will be my exhaust fan with a carbon filter so I am not worried about smell. The actual roof is plywood with tar paper and clay shingles. I also live in the desert where summer temps hit 115 ambient and who knows what temps the attic sees.

So do you guys think it would be okay to go ahead and do this without causing hotspots or anything flir could pickup? I appreciate your help guys!

There's no problem with venting into your attic except the moisture will build up mold. Even though you don't see it your room has tons of moisture in the air from the plants. The best idea in my mind would be to tie your venting from the room onto another pipe in the attic to vent it out of the house. I know everyone is worried about flir, but with one light you would never have to worry. Everyone I know has never done anything to stop the flir and the other I have read have bought stuff to mask/hide the flir image, but unless they have a flir camera how do they know their setup actually works? If you have ever seen a flir image from a piggy plane there is so much stuff that could be a grow or also be something else. It's about the same as a cop pulling you over. They can say so many things that you did wrong, but you really didn't to get you to pull over..But that's just my 2cents.
