So I'm wanting to cover the solder pads for safety reasons, however the holders aren't very attractive. I was thinking, a tiny amount of RTV sealant covering the pads would make them non-conductive. RTV sealant bonds well with metal, holds up at high temps, and even comes in white to match the plastic.
Is this a poor idea for any reason?
