Hey All
Please forgive me as this only my I'm a TOTAL noob when it comes to this as this is only my 2nd post and 1st grow ever (outdoors). So if I'm in the wrong place, forum etc. I apologize in advance!!
The 2 pics are of my "Grandfather OG" grown outdoors. It was planted mid - late July. Good Veg growth (for a first timer anyway lol) lasted about 4 to 5ish weeks.
Now to my question so to speak. The flowering period I allowed to go until I saw signs of yellowing leaves and that took about 8 to 9 weeks (there was snow starting to fall at the time). During those 9 weeks, right up until the end, the buds were still maturing right to the end.
I harvested, dried, and filled 2/3 of 7 wide mouthed mason jars, burping for the first 7 to 10 days. From there, the remainder of the cure was in a temperature and humidity controlled pitch black area for 10 weeks straight.
I was hoping by having the longer flowering stage time and long, proper cure would achieve those nice "amber" trichromes that are more mellow and sedating when smoked.
In your opinion, based on the 2 photos (can provide more) did I succeed? Or does this just look like some stale bunk?
Cheers!!!
