Hello.
I am growing in a small 60*60*160cm tent, a singe plant in a 20L air-pot, with a mix of coco and hydrocorn(clay pebbles?), I'm using Canna Coco, Canna Calmag and hydro silicon.
Everything has been going just fine but yesterday I spotted these bugs running around on the side of my air-pot, I have a USB microscope but the speed at which the bug is moving and the not-so-user-friendly-way of capturing images(it's a screenshot of a video playing) makes it very hard to focus and get a really good picture although I'm sure my microscope could do better(it' s not the cheapest and not the most expensive ether):
I can see them running around on the rim of the air-pot and also in the medium close to the rim, sort of the area where the water(I hand water) isn't really getting to, though there aren't a great many that I can see, I haven't seen more than 10 all in all though I will probably be able to find more if I spend more time watching the rim and the outer most areas of the medium.
Also I can not find a single one (yet) on the actual plant, I've been turning over leaves and looking the plant over really carefully but I can't find any on the plant at all.
Do you recognize what sort of bug this is?
Should I be worried about them?
Even if they would turn out to be harmless I am still going to take action against them, I just don't know what the appropriate action is yet.
Should I perhaps spray the hole outside of the pot, as well as drown the medium/inside in water mixed with Pyrethrum 5EC?
Any advice would be much appreciated.
Regards
