What do you think?!?!

Well, I have obviously been successful and sprouting cann. seeds and growing them. However, there are methods that are good but can have negative ramifications if not done flawlessly. For instance, the "paper towel" method--yes, it works well, but sometimes some seeds sprout sooner than others and you end up exposing them to light, etc once you get the seedlings which are ready. Grow plugs are good, but same problem, and sometimes when you start them in the dark, one might sprout really fast, but get lanky and limp over because it has no light to reach. So the question is, would it be just as effective to drop the seeds in soil, and keep them under a fluorescent grow light--just like as it would work in nature? That way each seedling can take it's time and each seedling will have light as soon as they sprout. What do you think?!?!

when I germinate my seeds I put the
into the small rockwool cubes and as soon as I see them peakabove the top I move them to their growing space. I feel this let's the anchor root do its job and get good and deep in the median. the same for soil. if I were a soil grower I would put them right into where I would flower it. no transplanting at all for me

i use the paper towel method wich i think is the best...but do you think the little bit of light that is exposed to the seeds germinating really harmfull??

I just put mine in the soil about a finger nail deep. and lightly water. I never cover with plastic or use the paper towel method. Have had 100% success so far.
