prune as little as possible but top early around 4 in. tall and supercrop a little later on, cut small undergrowth which doesn't get much light, or don't, your choice.

supercropping is pinching the stems so as to soften them so they can be bent over. also just arranging branches is very good. it really depends on your setup as to what will work best.
