Greetings all...
I have 4 ladies under 1000w hps
waterfall dwc
gh floranova bloom
5 gal buckets +40 gal res
2x258 gph pumps running 24/7
temps 75 hi 60 lo....rh around 20-30%
heres what's happening:

This has happened twice... everything looks great up until week 4 or 5 of flower. Then the trouble begins... ph drops drastically from 5.8-6.0 down to 5-5.2 overnight. Bud growth completely slows down, & there's some dead spots on the upper leaves. I flush and change out my solution regularly. figured I was over feeding since I started noticing burnt tips & the leaves were kind of dark. They started in flower at around 800ppm and were gobbling em up so I tried pushing it up to 1000. I recently flushed with plain water for a few days & the ph stayed in check. Yesterday I gave em a small amount of nutes, to about 350 ppm, and the ph was at 6. Today, the ph is back down to 5! Roots are white & very healthy looking, they fill the entire 5 gal bucket. And altogether, the plants look pretty good.
Im still kinda new at dwc, but Ive grown this strain before in an ebb n flow setup and I know they should look better than they do. Does a dwc system require less nutes? They just finished week 6 and i would normally start flushing next week or so anyway. Wondering if I should just give em plain water for the rest of this cycle and let em survive off their reserves.
