what kind of liight should i use for my seeding stage...(first time grower)

I just wanna kno what light is best for my plant while its still a seed with a liddo root...let me kno RIU...thanks

fluorescent tubes or CFL 6500k lights.

If you have money a Metal Halide is best for seedlings and veg.

I use t5s then mh into veg, then it's the 'ol hps.

If you are planning on using cfl's then you need the 6500k daylight bulbs. Or get your hands on a metal halide, but keep in mind heat is always an issue with halide & hps lamps, especially in small spaces.
